It has been stipulated in the article that the intensive development of the economy can be achieved by attracting investment and efficient use of resources. The main requirements of today put forward to the government in the process of integration into the world economic space is the formation of mechanism of investment, which is an important part of the mechanism of investment support. The aim of the article is to determine adequacy of investment analysis and investment support of Ukrainian enterprises. The methods of scientific research have been used in the article: a retrospective, grouping and summarizing, statistical, synthesis and comparison. Theoretical and methodological basis of scientific research constitute the works of Ukrainian scientists on investment support and statistics. It has been established that the investment support of the company is the process of accumulating the required amount of investment resources by implementing appropriate investment policies. The basic components of the mechanism of investment support has been disclosed. State investment policy as part of economic policy is the mechanism of influence through tax, monetary, depreciation instruments, science and technology policy on business entities. Based on calculating the rate of investment adequacy it has been found that in the studied period sufficiency level is less than the threshold value, which indicates the shortage of investment funds. Based on the analysis of statistical data volume of capital investment has been determined as reduced. It has been found that own funds and bank loans are not enough to provide intensive economic development. Uneven distribution of investments by economic activity has been revealed that also inhibits structural transformation. It has been determined that potential sources of investment resources should be foreign investors and savings. The scientific novelty of the research is to create its own definition of investment policy of the company - the investment activities of the company aiming to complete the transformation of industrial, economic and administrative activity. The theme of investment security is multi-faceted, controversial and inexhaustible; further research on this subject is urgent.
